Hey everybody, you all know things have been pretty quiet around the Chicago Dibs Tumblr because of the mild winter. However, tonight there is snow in the forecast!
Will the snowfall be as crazy as the blizzard in ‘11? Not at all, but we all know that won’t stop some Chicagoans from Dibsin’ anyway if there’s any significant accumulation.

I did my duty and shoveled out a parking spot after the blizzard. I claimed dibs for one day, but then gave the spot up. A few days later I went out to go on a bike ride and I saw this bench in the spot that i dug out. I left them a note to remind them of the fundamental rules of tibs and repositioned their bench. A few minutes later, the lady came back out, looked at the note and put her bench back in the spot that I had shoveled out.
